All-inclusive vacations are one of the best options for singles, couples and families who are budget conscious or who want an easy way to ensure that everything needed for their vacation is included in one price. They also provide peace-of-mind when you consider that the expenses are paid for in advance. However, it is important to remember that all-inclusive vacations are just like any other major purchase. They involve a contract and the contract covers everything that is included and everything that isn’t included in your vacation package.

In general, all-inclusive packages provide accommodation, airfare and transportation from the airport to the hotel and back. One thing that may not be included is gratuities and in many cases this is a major consideration depending upon your destination. In some locations, gratuities are expected for nearly every service.

When exploring the different options available, it’s a good idea not to purchase current sale packages. Check the gross prices online or in brochures to get a clearer picture of everything that is included. As with anything, it’s always a good idea to do price comparisons for the same destinations.
