Decisions, Decisions, Decisions – Making the Right All-Inclusive Choice

Posted by admin on January 6, 2010

Families enjoy all-inclusive resorts and cruises because, well, they are all-inclusive. Families can experience the beach, water sports, children’s programs, convenient meals, drinks and overall pampering. The most attractive aspect of the all-inclusive is the fact that a family pays one price. The only question, however, is “How do we choose the right all-inclusive package?” Following are a few points to consider when shopping around for the all-inclusive vacation that will best suit your family.

1. Which things are included? Generally, an all-inclusive package will include the meals, snacks, drinks, children’s programs, water sports and other activities.

2. Which things aren’t included? When you look deeper into the package information, things such as motorized water sports, boat trips, scuba, spas and off-property, guided outings are extra.

3. What types of child-friendly activities are available? Most resorts include child-friendly activities that are grouped by age. Child and infant care is also another amenity that is generally included.

4. If you have more than two children, be sure to look at resorts that allow more than a maximum of two adults and two children per room.

5. Explore the different options that are associated with the price of your package. Some amenities, such as superior suites, cost quite a bit extra. Another thing to consider is the off-season. It’s during this time that prices will be the lowest.

All-inclusive resorts are one of the best options for families and with a bit of savvy shopping, you can find the one that is the best fit for you.  Don't forget that cruises are all inclusive as well, and tend to have some great packages and deals that you should also consider.  For group cruise events, take a look at the cruise event planner at Seasite.com.
