Inclusions You Can Use
A good selling point to inclusive travel plans is that you don’t have to worry about being nickel-and-dimed to death. Some clients like to think about inclusive plans like this: Can I embark on my trip with a couple hundred in my pocket and come home with most of it intact? Plans where they could do that seem so attractive that sometimes they don’t look at the details to see where they could save. Here are some things for you to look for in packages to make sure you’re getting the best value.
The Little Extras?
So the luxury plan looks the best, does it? Sure! All meals included, snacks, drinks (to the tune of two of them every thirty minutes), and sever other…wait a second, did you say two every thirty minutes? Well, the guests must like to stay drunk all the time there. Plan B might only offer two drinks at every meal and maybe fewer meals or other luxuries, but maybe those could be acquired separately if they are necessary and be far cheaper than the full package.
What Does “Posh” Treatment Really Mean?
Of course people traveling on inclusive plans want great service–it’s part of why they choose the inclusive option. However, don’t assume all women want a trip to a spa and all men want a day on the golf course. Maybe a wild zipline ride through Costa Rica is more to their liking. Find out what people mean by “posh treatment” or you will not be able to satisfy their desires.
The lesson here is to always know what people want before booking inclusive travel. You can save money and your client list if you give them what they want, don’t spend money on unnecessary things, and put the savings towards their special trip.
