Cruise meeting events are already a popular inclusive incentive travel deal. They include everything, which makes your jobs easier, makes the client’s bill more definite, and leaves nothing to chance. However, a recent trip to the T-Mobile website revealed another consideration many people don’t talk about when discussing inclusive travel–the ubiquitous cell phone.

If you’re sending people on a trip, the last thing you want to do is cut them off from communication. Before the cell phone, ship-to-shore calling was expensive and problematic. Sure, you get dropped cell phone calls now and then, but a roaming call with T-Mobile could be the best way to keep in contact with the “land lubbers” left behind.

Also included are a whole slew of cruise ships.

You can also include the phones in other inclusive trips. You can send a high-producing sales person on a zipline tour of Costa Rica with a phone so she can send a photo to her friends directly from the canopy. Another star employee may want to keep in touch with family while he is on an African photo safari. Any situation you can think of can be enhanced by providing a cell phone.

This is an example of how the little thing can go a long way. The right touch at the right time can make a lots of difference in your offerings (and in your long term business).
