Short Guide to Proper Nude Beach Etiquette
Anyone who has gone on an all-inclusive vacation to a destination within the Caribbean has probably been faced with the possibility of enjoying some time at a nude beach. While this isn’t for everyone, some people may enjoy it. For anyone who is new to this activity, here are three rules of etiquette that should be observed.
1. No photographs – It seems to make sense that photography at any type of nudist, topless or clothing optional beach would be a no-no. However, there is an overabundance of electronic devices that can take pictures and immediately upload them to the Web. This can present problems. The bottom line is that anyone at a nude beach has the same right to privacy as you do.
2. It’s not a love-in – Obviously, if you’re with your partner and you’re both in the nude, various things may go through your mind. Don’t act on them. The primary goal at a nude beach is just to enjoy being without clothing and to perfect that all-over tan. In all honesty, no one probably wants to watch you doing the things you’re thinking about, anyway.
3. Don’t stare – Your parents always told you it was impolite to stare and that holds true at a nude beach as well.
Overall, respect everyone's right to privacy. The nude beach is meant to be a place of fun and enjoyment, not harassment or unwanted advances.
