Should You Choose an All-Inclusive Adult-Only Resort?

When selecting an all-inclusive resort for corporate travel or incentive travel, there are a number of factors to consider. Aside from obvious concerns, such as budget, availability and amenities, it is also important to determine which type of all-inclusive resort is most appropriate for your participants. For example, if you are offering incentive travel packages to customers or employees with families, you may not want to make the arrangements at an adult-only resort. Of course, if the point of the package is to offer a romantic getaway for two, then an adult-only resort is an ideal choice.

Adult-only all-inclusive resorts enforce strict age restrictions that do not allow children under any circumstances. These resorts offer dining, entertainment and activity options that are of interest to an adult audience and include resorts like Sandals, Couples, Golden Crown Paradise and El Dorado. It is important to note that some adult-only resorts restrict their guests to only male/female couples; therefore, they would not be appropriate choices for incentive travel packages that may be won by a gay or lesbian employee or customer. Travel planners should also keep in mind that selecting a resort that only allows male/female couples may reflect poorly on the company, as it may be seen as supporting a business that discriminates against the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community.
